The New Mac Mini 2011

Guess what? I’ve ordered a new Mac mini 2011 for my wife! This is part of the “convert PC to Mac plan” for my wife unintentionally.

Why Buy Mac Mini ?

It is not because my wife is Apple lover. In fact, she is Apple hater! She feel hard to learn Mac OS basics and prefer to stick on frequent use Windows software such as 美图秀秀, 迅雷, and those Chinese software!

Then why I buy Mac mini? The reason is the Dell Inspiron Zino HD that I bought just 2 weeks dead in mission! And it was on Sunday night when no one there to support normal home user.

I troubleshoot it at my own and found the Seagate SATA HDD totally gone! Fortunately I have a set of photo backup, if not couldn’t imagine the loses. Call Dell on Monday and they refuse to pay to recover my data (business data still inside!). Finally I decided to return the hardware and request for refund!

Dell product really gave me BAD impression! Immediately I think of my Macbook that run steadily without problem for 2 years ( even the battery still survive for a few hours).

Of course the main reason is I want to convert my wife to Mac and enjoy the robust and fun of the application, not struggle on the hardware itself!

The Mac Mini Hater

As expected, the time I tell her new computer is mac mini, she say don’t like this “small Apple” and give all sort of reasons :)

Well, I’m still trying to figure out Mac software that can replace the frequent use windows software. Hope the Mac mini will arrive in a few days and the conversion will be success!
