The popular micro blogging site Twitter has changed the web user interface. Three main features in this release: updated tabs, new design customizer, and Ajax menu bar. It is easier to use and simplified to all at a glance view.

New Twitter Interface Design

The most significant change is the top menubar moved to right sidebar with larger icons. The following, followers and updates stats are now available on the sidebar too. We can access these info easily compare to previous interface.

“Home” and “@Replies” pages integrated with AJAX engine. The implementation let us refresh the item faster without having to refresh the whole page.

The last fun feature is the design customizer. Under “Settings” > “Design”, you may choose pre-designed themes background or your own background picture. After that you may also change the design colors, including text, links, sidebar, etc. You can select the exact color that you want using the “color wheel”. (more…)

I saw a lot of blogger including famous blogger complaint about twitter service. Some say twitter service down too frequent and has take out reply feature. For me, I experienced twitter service once, a month ago. That is really hard time cannot tweet for my follower. And that is the only one time I saw twitter service down.

Normally I tweet once or twice a day. I am not sure whether I am so fortunate do not see twitter down during tweeting?  Or I do not tweet frequent enough to see it down? Or only my account not down? (more…)

There are more and more pro-bloggers using twitter for micro blogging. Some pro-bloggers got 20k+ followers on what they tweet. I would say this is the fastest way to blog. It is also an easiest way to communicate with your friends.

Text tweet is the most common way. There are many softwares can help us to tweet, such as twhirl, twitter homepage, mobile twitterrific ,etc. Also, you could use your mobile phone to tweet. Tweet using mobile phone is the most FUN way among all.

2. Photo Tweet

A picture more than a thousand words. By using photo tweet, it allows us to upload and share our photo with text description. You can login to twitpic using existing twitter account. I have tried my first photo tweet on yesterday. How about you?

What is Jaiku ?

New trend in microblogging ! Google has acquired Jaiku as its new feature and might integrated into its giant advertisement plan. If you have use Twitter , Jaiku is a microblogging and mobile blogging that competes with Twitter. If you don't know what is Twitter, you can find my twitter plug in on my page header right hand side. There are rumors Google may use Jaiku in the new Google product – Google phone! As we know, Google is one of the most successful search engine giant that always lookout for expands its advertisesing, this time we can expect it expands even in mobile devices. Can you imagine your Adsense ads shown on your friends mobile phone ? Cool huh?
