Are you using the fastest web browser? If you use Firefox, its latest Firefox 3.5.6 run 2X faster than Firefox 3. The website loading speed bottle neck is on JavaScript process time. The faster it process JavaScript, the faster it finish load a website.

The graph above shows respond time for each browser under SunSpider JavaScript test drive. Chrome run fastest followed by Safari. Firefox 3.5 engine has been improved a lot that come near to Safari. :) (more…)

New Google Toolbar Copy Chrome Interface

Quite some time I didn’t update my blog. Too many things happen recently. Now my blogging life should come back as normal, perhaps.

Google release a second beta of its toolbar software that copy Chrome browser interface for Firefox. In Chrome, when you open new tab, it show you “Most Visited” site with thumbnail for selection.

The new Google toolbar 5 (beta) make your Firefox do the same thing. Not only that, but also shows “Recent Bookmarks” and “Recent closed tabs” as screen shot below.

Eventually, this feature already available in Opera browser before Chrome. So it is not a new thing. (more…)
