I am very satisfied with the iPod Touch sound quality. It is clear, surround and handy. I bring it and listen to my favourite songs anywhere easily. But you know my memory not so good, there is much more important things for me to remember than lyrics. Hence, I only listen to songs without lyrics. It was so difficult for me learn to sing new songs.

How to add in Lyrics?

After I upgraded my iPod touch to firmware 1.1.3, I can look and sing with lyrics while listen to the songs now. This is one of the new feature in firmware 1.1.3. Perhaps this my favorite feature next to wiggle icons after the upgrade.

To add in the lyrics, it is pretty simple:

1. Search your song’s lyric via Google

2. In iTunes, select the song.

3. From the File menu, choose Get Info.

4. Click Lyrics, then paste the lyrics to the song in the text box.

5. Click OK when finished.

6. Sync the song to iPod touch.

After sync to your iPod, play the song and touch or tap on the screen. The lyric page will show up. Start scroll lyrics to follow the song.

My two cents

As you saw on the screenshot above, I have input the lyric of “Eyes On Me” via iTunes (one of my favourite English song by Faye Wong).

Although this is quite a convenient tool for iPod user. It will be best to integrate with auto search lyrics and auto scroll lyrics features. I hope these features can be integrate inside on next upgrade!
