More virus found does not mean it's a better antivirus software as there are many false positives, many antivirus software allows user to set the sensitivity to high, medium or low. But if high detection rate makes you feel safer, by all means psychologically. If my current Antivir fails me one day, I might try Panda.

Hi AhTim,

I am writing from the PR Department at Panda Security.

First of all, thanks so much for such a nice review on Panda Cloud Antivirus. It was great.

One little thing though: "The only concern is when you have no Internet connection, the antivirus maybe useless. So make sure you are online always, not suitable for offline user."

Panda Cloud Antivirus does protect you even when you are not connected to the Internet. You can get more info at: http://blog.cloudantivirus.com/2009/05/04/frequently-asked-questions/

You do not need to be connected to the Internet all the time in order to be protected. Cloud Antivirus stores a “local cache copy” of Collective Intelligence for offline operation. As soon as you disconnect, Cloud Antivirus still works in the background, checking every file against its local cache of detections. This local cache includes, amongst other things, detection for all malware files which are currently in circulation and affecting users.

Thanks so much for everything

Best regards,
