How to View Flash on iPhone?
Posted in Apple | By AhTim @ May 31st, 2010
So you waited for so long wanted to view flash on iPhone, iPod touch or iPad?
Firstly, still no native Flash app for iPhone, yet. But there is workaround to make your iPhone able to “view” flash content, with help of 3rd party app – Cloud Browse.
What is Cloud Browse?
Cloud Browse is a service that provide a full desktop browser for iPod Touch and iPhones, including Flash and Java support.
In simple, it work like normal web browser. But running remotely and being streamed to the iPhone/iPod Touch. This mean you can start play flash video in vimeo, youtube, last.fm, etc.
It is available for free download with bandwidth limitations. Of course performance will be slow down. The paid version cost $10 USD a month grant with a full 30 frames per second of video streaming.
Download the free Cloud Browse at iTunes App Store. I know it may not impress much, but is a cool thing to play flash on Apple mobile devices for the very 1st time!

Humm, thats odd that Apple would allow this on their system considering their stance against Flash, but then again… Since its not directly going into the iPhone maybe they are okay with it? Kinda of odd to me, hehe.

It is good to hear that the app to play flash appeared. But is it free or only for charge one? and moreover – it is difficult only to start. I’m quite sure soon there will be more similar applications from third party developers as well ass from apple team itself.
