Today is a good Friday to receive money! The highest amount of money and exchange rate I ever receive since blogging.

As usual, I withdraw my Adsense payment via Western Union in CIMB bank. Google Adsense payment issue at the right time. I manage to withdraw money with exchange rate USD to RM at 3.587. It is the highest exchange rate in my experience.

If you remember, I made Paypal transfer few days ago. Since it is already 5 working days, I call to my card center to verify the payment. The bank customer service said I spend money from credit card, not credit to credit card! Panic…Let’s see our conversation.

After verify my information..the lady ask

Customer Service: Hi Sir, How can I help you?

AhTim: I want to check my VISA card balance.

(Been waiting for ~ 5 minutes)

Customer Service: Hello Sir, Thanks for waiting. I saw a transaction $215 USD in the card.

AhTim: OK, Please help to transfer the balance from VISA to my MASTER card.

Customer Service: Sorry Sir, it is a transaction, we can’t transfer the “transaction”.

AhTim: I’ve made phone call to call center before I made the transfer. Your colleague said it can be manage without any charges?

Customer Service: No, we can’t transfer the “transaction”.

AhTim: Then why your colleague said No Problem?

Customer Service: We only can transfer “Credit”, Not “transaction”

AhTim: ?? You are right. I want to transfer my “Credit” from VISA to MASTER card to pay off my outstanding balance.

Customer Service: But this is a “transaction”, Not “Credit”.

AhTim: What? You mean I spend $215 USD from my VISA card??

Customer Service: Yes.

(Surprise me. I thought I have press any wrong button in Paypal!!)

AhTim: No. I transfer the money from Paypal, an Internet banking service to my VISA card. It is a “Credit”.

Customer Service: ??..Is this a Credit?..Please let me check it out. Can give me your handphone number? I’ll call you back.

AhTim: (I give her my handphone number and wait for the call)

After 3 minutes…

Customer Service: Hello Mr, I found the amount is Credit. So what you want me to do?

AhTim: Please transfer the money from VISA to MASTER card.

Customer Service: OK, after the payment still has extra. The extra will be show in your next statement.

Actually I’ve summarize our conversation. Seems we confuse the term “transaction” and “credit”. At first she keep saying “transaction” and I thought is credit. Can’t understand why she can’t transfer the credit. After only I know she thought the amount is not a credit. How can she interpret it as debit? Is it system problem? So hard to identify between spend and credit?…

Anyway, it is worthy. Why? Because Paypal transfer fund to VISA credit card at 1 USD to RM 3.622 !! First ever highest exchange rate in my life!

It is my first time to receive so much money I make online. At the same day, with high exchange rate. So I say today is a Good Friday to Receive Money! Can you guess how I use the Adsense money this time?
