			The typically cliché tech support situation goes something like this: malfunction occurs, number is called, wait time is forever, support member you speak with is either cynical or struggling to speak English.


All the while a real problem must be addressed, because more times than not the support is needed when work has to get done. It’s a classic experience of the modern age, apparently.


So much so that there are several ways in which people can seemingly circumvent calling technical support by finding out what they need to do online. But are these ways any better?


Let’s discuss the options that are available first:


Tech Support Chat: Essentially the same as phone-based support since you’re utilizing the help of a paid support team member. Instead of being on the phone, you describe the problem via instant messaging.


Forums: There are countless tech support forums wherein consumers can post their problems, and others may or may not provide the correct solution.


Search Engine: Perhaps somebody else has already had this problem before and decided to take their case to the Internet. Googling your question might turn up an identical question asked by someone else that’s already been answered.

What’s great about online means to gather tech support is that its oftentimes quick and allows for a more objective solution to a problem than what someone being paid by the company that made your product is willing to discuss. CONS


Online means to get tech support are great, but they rely on the one thing you probably won’t have at the time: access to the Internet. How many of you never download a single movie from P2P network? I don’t believe if you tell me Yes. Unless you are not techie person.


China BT download websites are closing down. Recently there are 400 Websites and forums has been affected, including the biggest BT site – BTChina.net. The Website cannot be accessed anymore!


For Malaysians, Bureau of Trade and Consumer is going to submit the latest copyright policy this March 2010. If it is approved, all kinds of P2P download (movie, music, software) will be treat as illegal! NO more downloads!


Copyright Safe?


Will this do to solve the copyright  issue? In my opinion, NO. Because there are increasing number of users go for Internet TV such as PPLive and Youtube. Better and faster, no long waiting for complete download.


Is there any law to protect copyright from such Media Channel?
