Bye Bye Wallpaper Junkie

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

Too bad and sad Wallpaper Junkie has been discontinued! Due to InterfaceLIFT ban Wallpaper Junkie to crawl its beautiful wallpaper. :(

Wallpaper Junkie is an easy to use GUI tool to download and set wallpaper on Mac OS (featuring WallFlow and ListFlow like iTunes cover flow). You have choice to ‘View’, ‘Quick Download’ or ‘Full Download’ over 2000 most beautiful wallpapers.

Where Download Free Beautiful Wallpaper?

Lastest Wallpaper Junkie version 3.04 compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or later. But it is now crash on my Macbook when starting-up. Probably it was totally ban from interfaceLIFT server.

Of course we still can download those nice wallpaper on interfaceLIFT but I much prefer a GUI tool. Hopefully interfaceLIFT come out a tool for us and make our life easier! ;)

How To Play AVI, WMV with QuickTime on Mac?

Friday, December 11th, 2009

It is painful when my Macbook can’t play AVI, WMV movie files. In fact, there are more files format cannot be play by QuickTime (Mac) by default. FLV, MKV, DivX and Xvid to name a few.

Why QuickTime can’t play? It only plays AVI files that both audio and video were compressed using a codec that QuickTime can use. You may find video with NO sound even you can play them. That’s really annoying experience.

Fortunately I’m able to resolve the problem and enjoy downloaded movies. Share 3 solutions with you. Hope it helps!

Solution 1. Flip4Mac

Flip4Mac is an official Windows Media Components designed for QuickTime. You can play Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) directly in QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using a Web browser.
