Healthy Blogger: Blood Test

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

I wish to write this post weeks ago but too busy. I get married for 5 years but never do blood test before. What happen if got serious sickness pass on next generation? Too dangerous.

As a healthy blogger, blood test shouldn’t skip from our schedule once a year. My wife and I decided to do blood test years ago but scared. Until last 2 weeks, we really take serious on this matter and head towards BP Healthcare Laboratory.

Blood Test Experience

We choose BP Healthcare Lab due to 2 reasons: Have doctor in the lab to explain test results and looks more professional. This is first time blood test in my life. I really scare the needle poke into my arm to draw blood.

I heard it is like ant bite, but is terror to see my blood come out from body into the tube. I decided to not see the draw blood process. Fortunately, the nurse complete the whole process within seconds and set me free. Huh~

Draw blood is easier for thin man, blood nerve more obvious. My friend who is fatter take 2-3 pokes before draw blood successfully. Perhaps the cholesterol is too thick to cover the nerve?

Body Check Up

We not only do blood test. We actually took blood test + cancer markers + lung/heart function + ultra sound. Total of $400 bucks one person. Two for $800 bucks. We hope this full check help to diagnose more details.

My wife and my blood separate into 3 test tubes.

After: KL Family Trip

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Finally arrived my home sweet home on yesterday night safely. It was a tired trip, really pack schedule. We have visited most of the planned place of interest. Except for the theme restaurants, ninja and star hill restaurant.

We all thought KL should be empty, but we were wrong. KL was clouded during our visit. Anyway, it was fun especially the Lost City of Gold ride! The interesting point is it go high up and down continuously 3 times. :) Shout till loss your voice. It is totally different from my last visit. More than 10 years I never enter.

High Tech during KL Trip

There are few high tech in use during our visit. First of all of course is my N82 GPS (Global Positioning System). Without GPS, I don’t think our trip can go so smoothly. GPS initiate time depends on cloud and Telco line. If Telco line is strong, it can be search accurate position faster. If there is cloud, harder to define current location.

Don’t mention about clouded Wifi connections within Sunway Pyramid. It is really common for free Wifi Internet access, but Sunway P1 Wifi charge for RM5 a day. More high tech implementations that I observed. (more…)

KL Family Trip @ October 2008

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

It has been long time we haven’t go for family trip. Since we have few days public holiday, most of my family members going for 2D 1N KL trip. Total 8 of us, only left one brother stay at home coz not enough seat. Maybe larger car can solve the problem huh?

My last visit to KL was on last year September 2007. This time we going visit different places. I don’t plan, my sister plan for us. According to her schedule, I expect it will be rush trip if visit all planned location. Perhaps we reduce the places to visit so we have more time.

Budget Hotel @ Downtown KL

On this KL trip, we will stay in Tune Hotels Downtown KL. I have booked 3 rooms and paid using my MBF VISA card. The price go up from $90+ to $110+ just in one week difference. AirAsia style huh?

This is my first time stay at Tune Hotel. Hopefully the 5 star bed like advertised. You can customize your room package to fit your needs. You can reduce the price by bring your own towel, soap, slipper.

Also, you can decide the hours of air-conditional and Wifi Internet access. I only ordered 5 hours air-condition and without Wifi. I have used to the air-cond hours at my home too. By the way, I’m not going to blog after whole day of travel. :) (more…)

Bought a Backbone Supporter

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

Have you practice good posture while blogging? Say is easier than practice it. Since it does not has immediate effect, most people don’t take it seriously. To protect your backbone and spine, you have to seat straight. This is quite tiring.

On my way back from Genting Highlands, I have bought a backbone supporter. It is multi usage. You can put in car, office or home. Some people even use it for exercise.

Why You Need BackBone Supporter?

The backbone supporter help to maintain the curve of your backbone in good posture. It is so comfort to lay on it. The outline is not normal metal. It is made from magnetic metal that can evenly circulating our blood. According to the manual, it can be used for the weight up to 200kg! (more…)

Delicious Dinner at SUSHI King Restaurant

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

After our 3 days trip at a small town in Pahang, we went back home on yesterday evening. We’ve found the towns are dry, hot and extremely hot. It took nearly 3 hours to reach home. I should play “home sweet home” with my violin :)

I was surprise by a snail mail with SUSHI King vouchers in my letter box! Carrying heavy luggage with tiring body is not a challenge anymore. ;) My wife and I have decided to take a good rest and delicious dinner at SUSHI King restaurant to compensate our hard work.

What we have eaten during our delicious dinner at SUSHI King? This is not our first time, so we want to try something different.

We took some delicious sushi plate before our main course. Bean Curd sushi is one of my favorite.
