Flexi Fax Online

What you need to do is register a free account in Flexifax.com.my. They will send you an id with password. You can now fax online to anywhere without a fax machine.

Once login, click on Quick Fax. Put in your particular in the fax form below.

After click Send Fax Now, your fax will be sent to their fax server while waiting to send out. You will then receive a notification in Flexi Fax Usage report and email on Delivery status.

Send Gmail Fax

To fax with Gmail (or other email), set authorized email. Then attach the document you want to fax to your email and email it to RecipeintFaxNumber@send.flexifax.com.my.

The question suddenly come into my mind, how much space do I have after years of emailing?

I receive emails everyday. Not junk mail. They including a daily backup of each domain, subscription email, guest blog request, advertisements request and business partner. I delete non of them in case need to refer in future.

How to Check Gmail Mailbox Size?

Very easy. Login to your Gmail, scroll to the bottom you’ll see current mailbox usage. I just utilize 30% of 7.6GB space, that is about 2.2GB. Still have 5.4GB to go!

How to Cleanup Gmail?

See my Inbox has 3000+ Unread emails! That’ huge amount of emails. I can say all of them are unused except the recent WordPress backup files.

Change the view to Unread, click Show more messages. Tick on the box top on to select all latest 50 messages.

If you have more than 50 Unread messages, an extra tips bar will show on top. Click to select all 900 conversations.

In my case, it will then select all 3000+ messages after click. At last, click on Delete to remove all unwanted messages into trash.

My Two Cents

Don’t worry if you have deleted wrong messages. Restore it back from trash. Those messages in trash will automatic deleted after 30 days!

My Gmail is now Clean. How about your? ;)

Consider Your Bandwidth Usage First

While it is natural to think that the first step to take when trying to choose a mobile ISP is to visit a mobile service provider and inquire about their services, it is probably the last step you should take. The first step you should take, instead, should be to consider your bandwidth usage; most people pay several times the amount they are supposed to pay for mobile internet access every month, and the reason for this is simple; they are paying for bandwidth they don’t need.

Make sure you accurately calculate the bandwidth you will be using each month, and then use it to determine which ISP plan you should go for.

Only Go with an ISP that has a Proven Track Record

Once you’ve determined the plan you want to go for based on the kind of bandwidth you use every month, the next step you should take is to make sure you only go for an ISP with proven track record. Don’t just go with a new ISP that is making the rounds in the news without proper research. A lot of new ISPs spring forth and go viral, only to go bankrupt a few years later. The best way to ensure the quality of your service and ensure you don’t get scammed and ignored is by going for an ISP with proven track record. In most cases these ISPs have been in existence for decades, and in the case of new ISPs they will usually have a stronger backing.

Look for a Way to Test the Service You Want to Use, if Possible

Another option some ISPs have is the option to test-drive the service you want to use, and if you’re provided with this option it is important not to ignore it. Install a Laptop Tracking Application

The first step I take to protect my laptop is to install a tracking application on it. There are several things this tracking application does. The first thing it does is to register my computer details with an online server so I can still access my laptop when it is online. If my laptop is stolen suddenly I will be able to login to the laptop tracking application website on the internet to report my laptop as stolen, the website will then automatically activate the software tracking features, and tell me the location of the laptop. The laptop tracking application I use, Prey, has a lot more features that I love, and one such feature is that it can also use the Webcam of a laptop to take pictures of the person using it. That way, if someone decides to steal my laptop I will easily find out who the person is.

Install a Firewall and an Antivirus

Another very important step you should take to protect your laptop is to install a firewall and antivirus software. By installing an antivirus on your laptop computer it will automatically be protected from virus infection and online threats, and you will easily know should your laptop be in danger. Most laptops have an option to monitor and protect your internet usage, an option to protect your emails, and an option to protect your computer from external devices. By installing a firewall you will be able to protect your laptop from external computers trying to hack into your laptop because your firewall will notify you automatically should any device try to access your computer.

Use Passwords to Protect Your Files and Your Laptop

Based on my experience with dealing with a lot of laptop users, most of them think there is no need to protect their laptop with a password since nobody can try to steal it. I completely disagree with this, and I think password protect your files and computer is very important. The reason for this is that should your laptop be stolen it will be completely useless, and the person who stole it won’t be able to access your files or your computer.
Windows doesn’t allow you to password a file by default, but you can easily Google an application that helps you do that.

I expect the number to be increase more since it is so easy to download software from App Store.

It is really not easy to run apps simultaneously with the basic 2GB memory that comes with Macbook. It slow down whole system performance when I run iPhoto, iMovie to edit movie with Safari open.

Upgrade 4GB or 8GB Memory ?

Not easy to decide 4GB or 8GB because Macbook officially support only 4GB stated at Apple website. But some Macbook users upgraded their Macbook to 8GB successfully.

After some research, Mac OS X (Snow Leopard in my case) actually running on 64-bit (including most built-in App) with 32-bit backward compatible. Theoretically, it should be able to support up to 16 EXABYTES memory! Yes, it’s true. Not 16GB but 16EB.

At last I decided upgrade to 8GB DDR3 Memory. After restart, system show 8GB detected.

After XBench memory test and some app testing, it shows running stable without any error or problem. Now my Macbook have more memory room to use :) Means better multitasking capabilities.

Many people asking on how to delete more than one photo at once. Here is the simple way to do it.

  1. Tap on the “Photos” icon.
  2. In the Albums view, choose the “Saved Photos” option.
  3. On top right, there’s a small box icon with an arrow bursting out of it.
  4. Tap on that icon and take a group action with those selected.
  5. Tap on a couple of photos that you want to delete.
  6. Tap on the “Delete” button on the top left and finished!
