Apple iPhone 3G “S”

There is always rumors and rumors are always TRUE! Apple has launched its latest toy iPhone 3G “S”.
“S” means Speed. While iPhone 3G just landed in Malaysia 3 months ago, Apple already move a step ahead us. Well done, Steve!
iPhone 3G “S” Feature
I read an article regarding Steve’s philosophy of computing. He didn’t invest much on user survey, but more to invent new technology for Apple users.
Because most of the users not actually know what they want, and how good can the product be. I think this make Apple product always a success and ahead others. Let’s see what new in this toy.
- Improved performance and 3D graphics up to 2x faster
- Can Shoot, Edit and Share Video in iPhone 3G S itself
- 3MP camera with autofocus (or tap to focus)
- Voice Control make calls or play songs. It even recognize playlist, tell the song name over your voice command.
- Digital Compass that integrate with GPS map to match direction you’re facing.
- Cut, Copy and Paste as promised.
- MMS, finally.
- More features like spotlight search, Internet sharing, etc.
After go through the features, what do you think? Not only it run faster but “Superb” in new invented features.
iPhone 3G S or 3G ?
Don’t know which one suit you the most? Compare the differences side by side.
Basically, iPhone 3G is enough if you don’t need GPS. However, iPhone 3G has lower capacity at 8GB and only available in black. Its price is $100 bucks cheaper than the 3G “S”.
My Two Cents
The digital compass and voice control really impressive. Though voice control is not a must.
Digital compass definitely can resolve the direction issue in normal GPS device. But just wonder what happen if we mount the iPhone standing in car? iPhone compass can work that way?
