Good day! Very happy to come back from my vacation in Shanghai safely and meet up with you all again here. I would say this is a great trip but too rush!
Based on the trip schedule that provided by travel tours agent, we suppose to visit more places, but some of the place visited has been changed.
What is interesting in my Shanghai trip ?
There are few places that I like the most in this trip:
1. Song Dynasty Show – The show titled in mandarin with “You give me a day, I give you a thousand year!”. It’s a entertainment city in HangZhou that imitate the city of Song Dynasty. All workers, building, activities inside is related to Song Dynasty in 1 thousand years back. I would say this is first ever show that I felt 10 times better than western show in Genting !

2. Water Town of Wuzhen – A very special water town that has history more than a thousand year. Whole village was circulated by river water. Their house, bridge and boat are all unique.

3. Cruise ride along the Huangpu River – Experience the beautiful Shanghai night by taking the cruise ride along the Huangpu River on both east and west side. Whole Shanghai city was brighten up using millions of colorful lights, it was so romantic~~

4. High Speed maglev train – We took maglev train from Pu Dong international airport to the nearest Long Yang station (30KM) with highest speed of 430KM / hour
The whole track took 7-8 minutes.

Find more photos that I snap at my Flickr page – Vacation in Shanghai @ Nov 2007.
My two cents
After visited all there cities in China – Shanghai , SuZhou and HangZhou, I have better understanding on China. It’s a high tech, cloudy, and most valuable it’s historical places. Out of these 3 cities, I like HangZhou the most although the weather there is too cold for me, about 3-4′ degree celcius. The reason is because it’s very comfortable, clean air and yet high tech!
How about you? Have you visited Shanghai ?
