Adsense For Domain Failed to Make Money!

If you remember, Google Adsense introduced a new method of make money early this year – Adsense For Domain.
To try out the efficiency of this method, I have registered myself a domain name with hot keyword Refinancing2009.com. Go visit the URL, it is a page full with Adsense ads. No HTML or PHP code needed, you could complete all configurations in Adsense for Domain setup page.
Adsense for Domain Won’t Work!
After 9 months of running, guess what the return? It has generated less than 300 impressions, with NO click and definitely $0 money earning!
Today I received domain name expiration reminder email. The email asked me to renew it or it expired after 2 months. Am I going to renew it? NO, thank you.
Although few bucks investment is pretty cheap, no point to keep a domain with zero return after trial run for a year. Is Adsense for Domain work for you? Please tell me your experience at comment below.

i think u need more than one domain, its like carrying out a survey on a single person and comes to conclusion that XXX is the favorite product.
Diversify – that is the answer, maybe we should gather a few bloggers and run a simple test of purchasing 1000 domains.

I didn’t try it for myself even I have few un-used domain.
Direct Traffic + Adsense For Domain maybe possible to make money… but limited to those general keyword and typo domain with very good traffic… such as
mobilephones.com, dafonts.com…

Very useful information! Thank you. I really do think that you have to be very careful about adsense. I’ve heard big claims about it and big failures, too. I guess it all comes down to figuring out what works and what does not.

maybe you can use free domain name
such as .co.cc

No, it is not working. For me, i have a .co.cc domain from 4 months, still now earned only 10 cents in it. Its waste of time for that.
Only we can earn money if we can advertise.

My blog http://www.greenplanetfan.org was used for adsense for domain for more than three months and guess what, I made $1 during this period. So, my guess is that I will make $4 per year and which is a loss.
So, I just installed wordpress on this blog and started the site. It is not doing that well adsense wise but I am sure that if I give it some time, I can definitely make something out of it.

Buying domain and placing it on Adsense for domain is stupid idea. If your domain has no traffic how it will generate the clicks.
Adsense for domain can be good for domains that had (and still have traffic), but you decided to give up, i.e. not to extend it anymore.
