Map is important for travel, especially self travel. It is not cheap to get a detail map. I want to get detail map for few countries prepare for my trip next year: Macau, Zhuhai, ShenZhen, Hong Kong. I didn’t any Zhuhai’s map exist in travel magazine.
It is time to explore more power in iPod touch! How good if I can utilise iPod touch “Maps” feature offline. The Maps app detail enough for me, it includes some place of interest, hotel name, location name, and subway station.
Google Map Enhancer
There are so many offline maps app but most of them retrieve map from Open Street Map which is too rough. They don’t have details and even don’t have road map for some locations. The best still Google Maps! (more…)

Apple MacBook is my dream laptop. Supposed to get a MacBook for myself last month but haven’t do so due to budget constrain. Fortunately I didn’t get it earlier because Apple just redesign and release the new MacBook 2009 yesterday.
Too excited to go through new MacBook features. So glad it has become better with same old price.

Why MacBook 2009 Better?
Basically MacBook 2009 has total upgrade. The upgrade from inner part: processor speed, hard drive capacity to exterior part: cover, screen, trackpad and battery. I’m sure you can’t resist the redesign whether you’re MacBook lover or not. (more…)

Thanks Calvin for pointing the Top 10 antivirus softwares from AV-Comparatives.org. Surprisingly Kaspersky is NOT in the list. Yet, I believe it is still a strong antivirus software for home and office user.
While many antivirus softwares giveaway for free, Kaspersky selling for $39.95 (USD) per year subscription. Which mean we can’t deny its software quality and security efficiency.

One of my server was attacked by Rontokbro virus few days ago. The Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition not only cannot stop it, but also dead after the attack!
The virus was created so smart to attack antivirus first before spread itself. No choice have to use third party tools to remove it.
Once cleaned, I try reinstall back Norton Antivirus but failed. It end up with “interruption” error. I stuck there, can’t remove nor install it. At last, found the workaround at Symantec Support page.
Delete Registry Keys
The long list of steps almost make me mad!
But better than no solution. I think registry is the root cause. Because it work right after I delete the registry keys. In fact I have deleted symantec registry before this but doesn’t help. You have to delete all 6 registry keys mentioned. (more…)

Remote access to computer is important to support customer in time. It is much important for business to support customer over the Internet. It not only save petrol gas, but also travelling time and man power.
I’m using LogMeIn and VPN server all the while. Don’t know there is a software “ShowMyPC” until a supplier told me. It make remote access to pc anywhere in the world via just Internet connection even easier.
How To Remote Access PC?
ShowMyPC doesn’t need installation. Launch the executable file and you have 2 function: Show My PC Now or View a Remote PC.
