One of the famous blog syndication network – BlogRush is shutting down. If you still remember, my blog has been banned from BlogRush on last year October.

I’m still new blogger (1 month old) at that time. They decline my account due to too much promotion and not enough quality content. Since then, I never reapply my BlogRush account.

I’m glad AhTim.com is still alive while BlogRush is shutting down. Last year same month, I said “My BlogRush is Dead”. Now, we can say “BlogRush is Dead”!

Why BlogRush Dead ?

During the first year, BlogRush successfully served 3.4 Billion blog post headlines all over the world. Then why end up with closed down the service? According to John Reese:

• Made many mistakes in deciding what blogs should stay or go (Maybe one of the mistake is decline AhTim.com?)
• Never made a single penny in revenue (No revenue, how to survive?)
• Service didn’t meet the expectation (Major factor to close it down)

No wonder the word “Beta” was there for pass 1 year. I doubt the reason behind this project. Do the founder build it for fun? What they want to do with all these blog’s information? Nobody know.

Although many say Microsoft Windows operating system is poor, it still the biggest player in Worldwide market. For example myself prefer MAC OS X Leopard, but it didn’t come as cheap as Windows price and also some hardware compatibility problem. At the end, I stick with Windows.

Actually not only me. Are you one of the Windows user here? I pick up the statistics from Google Analytics and found 71% Windows XP user, 27% Windows Vista user, and only 7% Macintosh user. From the results, we know most of the Windows user stick at Windows XP since it release on year 2002. Why? Are they waiting for better OS? Or they computer specs unable to support resources hungry Vista?

Tired of manage WordPress comments? We know it is inconvenient to refresh the comment page to check for new comment from time to time.

Manage comment become easy with Moderator plugin. This is not simply a plugin. Its a WordPress plugin that associated with desktop application on Adobe AIR. It allow us to view and moderate comments from desktop.

Comment Moderator Features

Since it is still early version, it has only basic features:

• Viewing unmoderated comments.
• Dock and system tray notifications of the number of unmoderated comments.
• Accept, delete, and spam comments from within the desktop client.
• Close application window, or minimize it to the system tray while running.
• Shows the Gravatar icons for the user who posted the comment.

Do you notice the banner of “Alien is coming” everywhere? I saw it everywhere in my home town. It not the real Alien but The Science of Aliens exhibition. This is first time for such UFO, Alien and Space life exhibition in the region.

I’m not interested and doubt on its exhibition content. Anyway, it still brought our curiosity. My wife and I went to MITC to have a look after our busy schedule at night.

I did a simple survey before bought tickets. I asked few visitors came out from the exhibition center. Some say don’t know what to say, some say its worth to have a visit. I asked the worker at ticketing counter. He said the exhibition originated from London and it is exciting!

The Science of Aliens Exhibition

Honestly, the Aliens exhibition is not interesting at all as expected. Just wonder why some visitors still highly promote it. There are 4 zones: Alien Fiction, Alien Science, Alien World and Alien Communication. Actually, We can find more Alien info on Internet websites and youtube.

The ticket price is RM8 per adult. Extra charges for digital camera, SLR and video recording device. But they forgot now we have good camera in mobile phone too. I have capture some highlights in the exhibition center.

Alien model from Roswell UFO incident. The Alien model is amazing. It got 6 fingers and 6 toes. The model is lifelike.

Bill Gates “slowly” retired from Microsoft 3 months ago. But do you know he has started a secret, mysterious new company, called bgC3?

What is bgc3? bgc3 is a technology services company, has federal trademark as think-tank.

The company possibly to be focused on creating catalyst business ideas to spin off to Microsoft, the Gates Foundation or elsewhere.

The company not far away from Bill Gates house. Rumor it will use to collaborate with Microsoft and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Why named bgc3?

Logically the word bgc3 can be translate as “Bill Gates Company 3″. But some say the character “C” should represent as “catalyst”. It means the company may act as a media to collect all new ideas. Anyhow, let’s wait and see what happen when the company is in operation.

Is this call retired life? I think Mr Bill just can’t wait to achieve his dreams in short life. I hope he concentrate more on his charity foundation work to help more people. Will you retire if are him? (more…)
