Amazing Google GLASS Explorer Technology

Ever wonder how the Heroes in Dragon Ball wear glass to see people’s power level? It is now a reality that happen in Google GLASS Explorer project! Or we should name it Augmented Reality Eye Glass. Google GLASS is a new project to see the World through GLASS. It is not just a simple eye glass but a personal assistant wherever you go.

What Google Glass does?

It is surprisingly simple to control the glass by just speak the command “OK Glass” to get start. The glass can take pictures, record video, share video conference, GPS navigation in front of your eye, send messages, Google search image, and even translate your voice! Google Glass Explorer

There are six colors in total: Charcoal, Tangerine, Shale, Cotton, and Sky color. Which is your choice? ;)

Travel to Singapore Universal Studio

I’ve took 3 days off and travel to Singapore Universal Studio Theme Park in the last weekend. It was my first time to travel in Singapore with family. Overall, holiday in Singapore is fun, exciting and tired. 

One of the most modern casino – Marina Bay Sands! I’m not interested the casino but the endless swimming pool on roof top! Heard the swimming pool can only access by the hotel guest. The Noah Ark look alike boat on top is very cool too.

Just wonder Marina Bay Sands allow me to write a blog review for them?

My main purpose to travel Singapore is the famous theme park – Universal Studio @ Sentosa Island. The island can be access via cable car, Sentosa express and Bus.

Web Mobile OS – Mozilla Firefox OS

How many if you still using Mozilla Firefox Browser? I believe not many. Even myself are using Google Chrome for long time now.

Mozilla has contribute a lot in web technology in the past 15 years. And now is time to move forward it’s Web technology to another platform – Firefox OS!

Mozilla Firefox has develop their own Web base OS in Mobile industry. Mozilla Firefox OS is rival to Android and iOS. I believe it will fun in the future of Mobile OS party with the join of Firefox OS.

Firefox OS is build on Web open platform. Entire OS made on HTML 5 and other open web standards. Best is it is Free!

First few mobile to promote Firefox are Alcatel, LG, and ZTE and Huawei. Expect to see in the market later this year. I’m looking forward to review Firefox OS when it is in the market! ;)

Fraser Hill Trip 2013

While many are celebrating Chinese New Year 2013, my family my friends and I, total of 17 people enjoying our holiday at Fraser Hill. :)

Fraser Hill located on mountain across states of Selangor and Pahang. It is a mountain full of mysterious. It is said the whole team of prospector leading by Louis James Fraser missing in the Banjaran Titiwangsa. His mysterious disappearance has not been solve till today.

In early of 1900′s the bishop (friend of Louis James Fraser) rediscovered Fraser’s Hill on the hunt for Mr. Fraser. Later, he suggest to develop the area and now those resort and bungalows become a nature destination for visitors to stay.

The journey to Fraser Hill took us total of 7 hours! I know it is ridiculous. But what to do in such highly jam traffic? Further the distance from root of mountain to the peak is about 30KM. Most difficult drive is 8KM before the peak. The road is narrow, bending and steep.

But you will feel really close to nature without much commercial damage. What you want more?

The weather is really really COLD! I would say it is the winter of Malaysia. I can’t even see Mr Sun in whole 2 days. Whole peak was covered by fog and the wind is so strong until we have to hide in the building.

Upgrade to WordPress Blog 3.5

It was 3 years back when the WordPress major upgrade to version 3.0. The upgrade till today is not much changes but I think because it is mature enough already.

AhTim dot com is now on WordPress 3.5. All plugins can be run without any issue. So what is new in this new WordPress 3.5 engine?

  • New Media Manager
  • Dashboard support Retina display
  • Import post directly from Tumblr
  • Support embed link for Instagram, Slideshare and Soundcloud
  • A New default theme called Twenty Twelve.

I’m now on WordPress 3.5 and has change to the new default theme. It looks clean, tidy and wider. I hope you like it? ;)
